We strongly recommend that a power take-off and a directly mounted pump be used to eliminate the auxiliary driveshaft whenever possible. Jay Grenier enters his eighth season as the head baseball coach at Rhode Island College. He owns a career record of 337-213-1. Under his guidance, Rhode Island College posted a 21-14 overall record and an 8-6 (third place tie) in the Little East Conference in 2007.The Anchormen's 21 wins tied the 2006 edition's mark for the most wins in a season since the 1979 squad won 24 games. Grenier led the Anchormen to 21-20 overall record and an 8-6 (third place tie) mark in the Little East Conference in 2006, despite losing seven seniors from the NCAA Tournament squad in 2005. It was the Anchormen’s first winning season since 2003. RIC also made its first Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Baseball Championship appearance in 19 years. The Anchormen won their first round contest vs. UMass Boston before the tournament was halted due to inclement weather. In 2005, he led the Anchormen to their first-ever Little East Conference Baseball Tournament Championship and a berth in the NCAA Div. III Baseball Tournament. In the LEC tourney, the fifthseeded Anchormen swept through the tournament with a 4-0 record, defeating all of the four higher seeds along the way. RIC concluded the ’05 campaign with a 19-21 overall record and posted a 7-7 (fifth place) mark in the LEC during the regular season. During the Fall 2004 campaign, he led the Anchormen to their second consecutive Cardi's Furniture Fall Baseball Classic Championship. RIC concluded the 2004 season with a 19-16 overall record and a 6-8 (fifth place) mark in the Little East. The squad played six games versus teams who were nationally ranked at the time. They were victorious in two games, including a 10-5 win over fourth-ranked Eastern Connecticut. RIC turned the corner in 2003, improving to 20-19-1 overall and 5-9 (sixth place) in the Little East Conference from 10-25 overall and 2-12 (seventh place) in 2002.
Meet the Head Coach Head Coach Scott Virgulak Scott Virgulak begins his second year as Rhode Island College's head baseball coach. He guided the Anchormen to a 21-18 overall record, the program's fourth straight 20-win campaign, and an 8-6 (third place tie) mark in the Little East Conference in his first season at the helm in 2010. He spent 2004-09 as an assistant coach under previous RIC boss Jay Grenier. During his time as an assistant, he primarily worked with the team's position players, while serving as the squad's third base coach during games. Off the field, he was instrumental in working with the team's recruiting efforts. Virgulak was an assistant coach with the Newport Gulls of the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) from 2006-09. The Gulls captured the 2009 NECBL Championship, with Virgulak serving as the head coach during the deciding game in the playoffs. Virgulak was an assistant coach for the 2009 NECBL All-Star squad that played Team USA. He also was an assistant coach during the 2004, '05 and '06 NECBL midsummer classics. Prior to joining the Gulls staff, Virgulak was an assistant coach with the North Adams Steeplecats and was promoted to head coach during the 2005 season, leading the club to its first and only playoff series victory. He played two seasons of baseball at RIC in 2000 and 2001. The North Kingstown, Rhode Island native played in 59 games, starting 58 of the them. He posted a .286 career batting average with 43 runs, 61 hits, 33 RBI, 16 doubles, five home runs, 92 total bases, 33 walks and one stolen base. He recorded a .432 slugging percentage, a .382 on-base percentage and a .938 fielding percentage for his career. As a junior in 2000, Virgulak had an outstanding season and was named First Team All-Little East Conference at third base. He batted .377 with 24 runs, 43 hits, 16 RBI, 10 doubles and two home runs. Prior to coming to RIC, Virgulak played two seasons for Grenier at the Community College of Rhode Island.
The CIES Football Observatory is a unique project initiated in 2005 by Drs Raffaele Poli and Loïc Ravenel under the name of the Professional Football Players Observatory (PFPO). Since 2011 it is one of the cornerstones of the broader CIES Sports Observatory project, dedicated to the statistical analysis of sport in all its diversity. Two annual reports are published for football. In January, the Demographic Study presents an in-depth analysis of club composition and player characteristics in 31 top division leagues of UEFA member countries. In June, the Annual Review analyses clubs and players in the big-5 European leagues from a demographic, economic and pitch performance perspective. Power Brake Booster, Replacing Power Brake Booster, Replacing Preparation Disconnect the battery lead Removal Preparations for removing the power brake booster Switch off the ignition. Remove the cross member. (On 5 cylinder engines): Remove the screws and nuts from the engine mounting. Lift out the cross member. Remove the air cleaner (ACL) housing. Remove the plastic cap and the cable holder. Remove the integrated relay/fusebox. Preparations for removing the ABS unit Clean the brake pipes terminals at the master cylinder and ABS unit. Place paper under the master cylinder to avoid brake fluid spillage. Remove all the brake pipes from the master cylinder and the ABS unit. Plug the master cylinder socket for the brake pipes. Remove the ABS unit and bracket from the side member The unit is secured with three screws. NOTE: Store the ABS unit in such a way that no dirt can get into the pipe couplings. Preparations for removing the master cylinder NOTE: On cars with 6-cylinder engines: Disconnect the connectors from the master cylinder. Mark up a connector. Disconnect the connectors on the power brake booster. NOTE: If the car has hydraulic clutch: Block the hose to the clutch cylinder. Use hose pliers. Remove the master cylinder Avoid brake fluid spillage when removing. NOTE: Ensure that the gasket between the power brake booster and the master cylinder stays in place on the master cylinder.
