Working with the audio application experts at Audiofile Engineering, Blue has developed its own recording software app, Blue FiRe, specifically tailored to bring the most out of your Mikey. You can find it available for free download in the App Store. Blue FiRe for Mikey provides CD-quality stereo recording capabilities along with basic file management capabilities and simple touch-screen editing for the iPod Touch. • iPod touch (1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation) • iPod nano (2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th generation) • iPod classic • iPod (5th generation) The iPod touch allows you to expand Mikey’s capabilities with a wide range of new recording apps, all available for download from the App Store. Note that there are many recording applications available, and all should properly address and record with Mikey. However, some programs may hinder Mikey’s capabilities (like the built in Voice Recorder app, which only records only low quality, mono audio), so be sure to download and use Blue FiRe so your recordings will have all the quality they deserve. You can also check out Blue’s Mikey web page for a more complete listing of available recording apps and their capabilities. 4 5 QUICK START GUIDE • iPod touch (Blue FiRe) • Connect Mikey to the bottom of the iPod touch, with the Blue logo facing up (the same direction as your iPod touch Screen).

Designed specifically for Acura vehicles, Acura Music Link allows you to play music from your Apple® iPod® on your vehicle's audio system. Acura Music Link connects your iPod directly to your vehicle's audio system for the best sound-quality results. (It does not transmit music from your iPod on an FM radio frequency and use your vehicle's FM radio to play music.) Once connected, Acura Music Link allows you to use the audio system's controls to search for and play music from an iPod, and it charges your iPod battery. To get the most out of Acura Music Link, first install the Acura TTS software application provided on the Acura Music Link CD-ROM. (See Using Acura Music Link With Acura TTS.) Acura TTS is an optional software that installs on the Mac or PC you use with your iPod. It provides voice prompts to help you find music on your iPod, and it allows you to shuffle songs, shuffle albums, seek/skip to the next song or album, and search playlists, artists, albums, and genres. (To learn more about Acura TTS, see page 10.) To get started using Acura Music Link quickly, see the Using Acura Music Link Without Acura TTS* section of this guide or the Quick Reference Guide. Both will show you how to connect your iPod, play music (either shuffle songs or shuffle albums), and skip to the next song or album. NOTE: Acura TTS is not required to operate Acura Music Link.
January 2014 Delta Says No to Phone Calls During Flights The jury is still out on the Federal Communications Commission's decision to lift the ban on allowing passengers to make phone calls during flights. According to a poll conducted by CNET, 80 percent of the 2,051 individuals who responded say no to the question "Do you want in‐flight cell phone calls?" It seems as though Delta has paid attention to responses like this to the recent news of the possible lift of the ban. In an official memo to Delta employees, CEO Richard Anderson said "Delta will not allow cellular calls or internet‐based voice communications on‐board Delta or Delta Connection flights." Anderson also mentioned their customer research and direct feedback from frequent flyers tells them allowing voice calls during flights would ruin travelers' flight experiences. Delta is a company on the progressive front when it comes to bettering the flying experience for its passengers. This notion is backed up by the company's quick response to the FAA allowing electronic devices to be used during all phases of flights (from gate to gate). Delta was the first airline to file their plan with the FAA. Pre‐Check Application Process Launched by TSA and Customs and Border Protection agency announces Global Entry Program for International Travelers in the U.S. On Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013, The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) launched a public‐facing "Pre‐Check" airport screening program enrollment process. Since the Tuesday announcement, travelers in the Indianapolis area are able to apply and complete background interviews at the application center at Indianapolis International Airport (IND). The TSA plans to open additional application centers in the New York City, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles areas. The overall plan for the application centers is for the TSA to open 300 across the United States.

These instructions only apply to this particular version center support bearing and may not be correct for other versions. TOOLS NEEDED: • Ratchet • 12mm serrated wrench (triple square bit) – NAPA # SER2306 • 13mm socket • 18mm socket • 6 inch extension • 18mm open end wrench • Rubber mallet or dead blow hammer. . Expanding flat nosed snap ring pliers . Various other common hand tools INSTRUCTIONS: Read these entirely and understand them BEFORE you attempt this procedure. 1. Apply parking brake and wheel chocks to prevent vehicle from rolling. A lift is recommended for this repair. IMPORTANT: Carefully mark driveshaft orientation on both ends of shaft sections. (Transmission and differential ends, as well as splined ends where the two drive shafts come apart to allow removal of center support) The sections MUST be reassembled EXACTLY as they came apart for the removal of the old center support bearing, and the driveshaft needs to be reinstalled EXACTLY the same way, in the exact same orientation. Failure to do so can result in imbalance, vibration, and potential damage to vehicle. Otherwise a professional drive shaft shop must be employed to re-balance entire assembly. 2. Remove 6 10mm bolts at joint at rear of back driveshaft. Use the M12 triple square (12point) tool. (NAPA part number SER2306). 3. Remove 3 18mm wrench size (12mm bolt size) bolts from front of driveshaft. 4. Remove 3 18mm wrench size (12mm bolt size) bolts on flex disc. 5. Remove 13mm wrench size (8mm bolt size) bolts on plate covering center support. 6. On some models (Turbos), it may be necessary to loosen various exhaust system clamps, hangers and components to ease access to driveshaft. 7. Pull driveshaft toward front of vehicle to separate it from differential.

As the result of an accident or illness, or because of old age, some people are no longer in a position to take care of important matters themselves. They need someone who can represent their interests and rights in dealings with doctors, for example, or public offices and officials. The basic principles of legal guardianship are explained in this advice brochure, and the duties and rights of the care-taking guardians described in some detail. You see, German guardianship law is complicated. And not all advice centres and facilities are adjusted to persons with a migration background. Migrants often don’t know which options they actually have, the main reason being that they are not familiar with German guardianship law. Then again, it’s difficult for them to understand the often rather complex legal regulations because their German language skills aren’t so good. This brochure is intended to be both a source of advice and a guide. It takes cultural differences into consideration, and tries to help you to understand the complicated system of German guardianship law. After all, as far as matters of your personal wealth and welfare are concerned, nobody can fulfil expectations better than you yourself. Which is why everyone should have the chance to check whether precautionary measures should be taken in good times – for bad times – if, indeed, guardianship is necessary at some point. As well as an illustration of the legal basics, the brochure also contains a detailed description of types of precautionary options, in the shape of advance directives on guardianship, living wills and powers of attorney. Moreover, it contains a list of the regional drop-in centres, like guardianship authorities and associations, which offer advice and support. The brochure is published in several languages so that migrants have access to all the information. Our thanks go to the Institute for Transcultural Support for developing and publishing this brochure, which bears in mind the growing need for legal support of persons with a migration background.
