Introduction and disclaimer, please read carefully: For the academic interest of other Ducati enthusiasts, there are listed below a number of non-standard parts which have been suggested as alternatives to the genuine Ducati parts which can be scarce or expensive. Some information is only hearsay. The important point to note is that the suggestions have not been approved by anyone, certainly not the Ducati Factory who would presumably prohibit such fitment. 1) Rimuovere la sella e il fianchetto destro. 2) Far scorrere il cablaggio del PCIII sotto il tubo destro del telaio (Fig. A). 3) Rimuovere le tre viti accessibili che fissano la centralina originale della moto (Fig. B). 4) Tirare leggermente la centralina per accedere al connettore del cablaggio. Scollegare questo connettore dalla centralina (Fig. C). 5) Collegare i connettori del PCIII al connettore del cablaggio originale ed alla centralina della moto (Fig. D). 6) Installare il PCIII dietro la batteria utilizzando il velcro fornito. Prima di applicare le parti adesive, pulire bene entrambe le superfici con la salvietta in alcool fornita. 7) Installare la sella e il fianchetto. 8) Localizzare il sensore O2 originale nell’incrocio dei tubi di scarico. Seguire i fili che vanno da questo sensore al cablaggio della moto. 9) Scollegare il sensore O2 dal cablaggio e collegare al suo posto il Controller Sensore O2 fornito da Dynojet. Il connettore proveniente dal sensore O2 originale NON deve essere collegato da nessuna parte. 10) Installare il connettore O2 sotto il fianchetto sinistro. NOTA: Il Controller Sensore O2 permette di sfruttare al massimo il potenziale della moto e del PCIII. La moto originale ha un’area “Closed Loop” che è controllata dal Sensore O2 originale. Se non si installa il Controller Sensore O2, la curva di carburante NON può essere regolata sotto il 40% di apertura farfalla o 3000 rpm..,.
