Proper installation of this supercharger kit requires general automotive mechanic knowledge and experience. Please browse through each step of this instruction manual prior to beginning the installation to determine if you should refer the job to a professional installer/ technician. Please contact your dealer or Vortech Engineering for possible installers in your area. This product was designed for use on stock (un-modified, OEM) vehicles. The PCM (computer), engine, transmission, drive axle ratios and tire O.D. must be stock. If the vehicle or engine has been modified in any way, check with Vortech prior to installation and use of this product. Use only premium grade fuel with a minimum of 91 octane (R+M/2). Always listen for any sign of detonation (knocking/pinging) and discontinue hard use (no boost) until the problem is resolved. Vortech is not responsible for any clutch, transmission, drive-line or engine damage. Exclusions from Vortech warranty coverage considerations include, but not limited to: 1. Neglect, abuse, lack of maintenance, abnormal operation or improper installation. 2. Continued operation with an impaired vehicle or sub-system. 3. It comes as the Norwich-based Land Rover specialist and sister company Essex-based Mansfield Motors at Lawford, near Manningtree, join forces under the JSF 4x4 brand. Stuart Kennedy, general manager of both sites plans to expand the brand and branch out across the region over the next couple of years. JSF 4x4, which has been trading from Norwich since it was started in 1983, and what was Mansfield Motors, which was set up some 15 years ago, are both supported by parent company Allmakes 4x4, a worldwide supplier of high-quality parts and accessories for Land Rovers. “I am building a brand to increase the presence of JSF 4x4 and the aim is to expand further,” he said. “We are looking to cover the whole of East Anglia as a Land Rover specialist. “It is a time of growth and investment.” While the primary role of JSF 4x4 is as a Land Rover specialist, it also uses the technical expertise of its skilled staff to work on all brands of 4x4. The two sites handle about 5,000 jobs a year. As part of the rebranding, the teams at Norwich and Lawford have been strengthened with some new senior staff joining the business. JSF 4x4 has 15 staff at its Norwich operation headed up by site principal Kevin Springall, workshop controller SimonJohnson and group financial controller Liz Andrews. There are nine staff at the Lawford operation led by site principal Chris Nunn, workshop controller Tim Poulter and office manager Kerry Gunning. “I have built strong teams on both sites and it is now a case of going forward with the business, promoting the brand and showing how excellent we are,” he said. The Norwich and Lawford sites have had a working relationship for over five years so it was a natural progression to bring them together under the one JSF 4x4 brand. As well as specialising in looking after all Land Rover vehicles, JSF at Lawford will also continue to be Jeep specialist. One of only a handful of Jeep specialists in the country it is renowned in the industry for its technical expertise and parts supply, importing them direct from Omix and Crown in America.
