It should highlight your strongest assets and skills, and differentiate you from other candidates seeking similar positions. Although it alone will not get you a job or internship, a good resume is an important element toward obtaining an interview. Tailor your resume to the type of position you are seeking. This does not mean that all of your work history must relate directly, but your resume should reflect the kind of skills the employer would value. Metro North Regional Employment Board Strategic Plan FY 2013 ...

In the context of today’s changing fiscal landscape on both the state and federal level, the Metro North REB is entering a stage of development that is guided by new opportunities as well as challenges. As it moves forward, the REB must identify creative new approaches, consider diverse sources of funding, and streamline existing systems to optimize efficiency. In addition, undertaking a renewed philosophy of continuous improvement and innovation in program implementation will be crucial to adjusting approaches in workforce development to align with the ever-changing economy. Historically, the education and workforce development systems have been only sporadically, marginally, or indirectly connected to business needs. Although some components of the workforce development system (notably community-based training and employment programs), have a long history of aligning their training with strong employer partnerships, the K-12 and college education systems have been grounded in a philosophy of preparing people for life, by providing a broad, general education, and only targeting training to specific occupations later in the post-secondary experience. In addition, education and workforce development have struggled to keep up with changing technologies and trends in industry, often lacking critical information about where career opportunities exist and what skills and abilities are necessary to take advantage of those options. As a result, education and training are often disconnected from real-time employer needs, and as a result, unemployed youth and adults often lack the necessary skills to enter those jobs that do exist, creating a growing class of disconnected or never connected workers.

Production Notes Paper recycling is reprocessing waste paper fibers back into a usable paper product. Soy ink is a helpful component in paper recycling. It helps in this process because the soy ink can be removed more easily than regular ink can be taken out of paper during the de-inking process of recycling. This allows the recycled paper to have less damage to its paper fibers and have a brighter appearance. The waste that is left from the soy ink during the de-inking process is not hazardous and it can be treated easily through the development on modern processes.

The Facts and Science of Climate Change - U.S. Senate ...

Committee on Environment and Public Works The Facts and Science of Climate Change by U.S. Senator James M. Inhofe Chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works The climate is constantly changing, and has done so throughout history. The challenge is to understand the natural changes in the climate and whether humans are contributing significantly to those changes. The larger challenge is to separate the politics from the discussion of the science, in order to better understand the state of knowledge of climate change science. Today, even saying there is scientific disagreement over global warming is itself controversial. But anyone who pays even cursory attention to the issue understands that scientists vigorously disagree over whether human activities are responsible for global warming, or whether those activities will precipitate apocalyptic natural disasters. It is extremely important for the future of this country that the facts and the science get a fair hearing. Without proper knowledge and understanding, alarmists will scare the country into enacting their ultimate goal: making energy suppression, in the form of harmful mandatory restrictions on carbon dioxide and other greenhouse emissions, the official policy of the United States. Such a policy would induce serious economic harm, especially for low income and minority populations. Energy suppression, as official government and nonpartisan private analyses have amply confirmed, means higher prices for food, medical care, and electricity, as well as massive job losses and drastic reductions in gross domestic...

Advanced Fibonacci Techniques & Studies - First

Objectives There are two principal objectives for this paper. The first, is to introduce a complete set of Fibonacci levels / values that the serious trader should be using (most traders are only using portions of the reality of Fibonacci in their trading). Secondly, to provide an overview of the various ways Fibonacci reality can be brought to the chartist or technical trader, as again, most traders are under-performing when it comes to the potentiality of Fibonacci-based, technical analysis in their trading. In the end, this should be the one-stop-shop (all things Fibonacci) for the intermediate to advanced trader in regards to Fibonacci in their trading. Please note that I am not going to provide the personal history of Leonardo Pisa Fibonacci (though I find it very interesting and would encourage every trader to investigate such history on their own). I am also not going to discuss seashells, flowers, or bunny counts to illustrate the origin and pervasiveness of Fibonacci in our world. There are other complete and readily found sources for such information. I personally believe the following site will contain more information than one can digest on the topic of Fibonacci … http://www.maths.surrey.ac.uk/hosted-sites/R.Knott/Fibonacci/fibBio.html
