There is an increasing need for high-precision gear machining to meet customer demand for low-noise and low-vibration planetary gear systems. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) has been developing high-precision gear-cutting technologies for use before heat treatment in the production of ring (internal) gears, one of the components of planetary gear systems. However, high-precision high-efficiency gear grinding is also essential after heat treatment to eliminate distortion and improve gear accuracy. In this paper, we report on the development of the Mitsubishi ZI20A grinding machine, the world's first internal gear grinder for use in volume production. Planetary gear systems are widely used in automatic transmissions of vehicles and power transfer systems for hybrid cars because of their compactness and high reduction ratio. There has been an increasing demand for higher precision internal gears as well as for external gears in transmissions to suppress noise and vibration. To meet this demand, gear manufacturers are seeking high-precision high-efficiency techniques for grinding internal gears after heat treatment. Figure 1 shows the manufacturing flow for the volume production of ring (internal) gears. In recent years the demands for precision machining of gears in automobile transmissions, for low noise and vibrations, has been ever increasing. Historically, conventional finish machining of gears was a pre-heat treatment operation typically by shaving. However, the requirement for higher precision forced a shift toward a post heat treatment operation using a generating process, which eliminates thermal distortion, thus enabling high quality and precision. The Mitsubishi ZE15A gear-grinding machine was duly developed for the high production line applications and launched into a domestic market typically dominated by European machines. (3) Ease of use for the user achieved via interactive dialog functions and full CNC control of all axes. This paper describes the principle of grinding and control for the ZE15A before presenting some machining examples.

FM RECEIVER CIRCUIT FOR BATTERY SUPPLY DESCRIPTION The SC1088 is a bipolar integrated circuit for use in mono portable and pocket radios. It is used when a minimum of perpheral components (of small dimensions and low costs) is important. The circuit contains a frequency-locked-loop(FLL) system with an intermediate frequency(IF) of about 70kHz. Selectivity is achieved by active RC-filters. De-tuning related to the IF and too weak input signal is suppressed by the mute circuit. Wired G3 Keypad Test 0200 If your gate opener will work with the remote transmitter, but not with a hard wired keypad, try the follow troubleshooting steps. Make sure that you have good batteries in the back of the keypad and that they are installed correctly observing polarity. Batteries are required to power the keypad even though you have it hard wired to the circuit board in the gate opener. In extreme cold weather, we recommend lithium/alkaline batteries. Try to Power Reset the keypad. Take one of the batteries out of the back of the keypad and allow it to power down for 30 seconds. Power the keypad back up by replacing the battery. The keypad should reset and begin to operate. -1- If the keypad still won’t work, try to reset the programming of the keypad. Once the keypad has been reset, you should be able to use the master code, 1234 to open or close the gate. If resetting the programming did not work, check the wiring from the keypad to the circuit board to ensure that the polarity is correct. The output on the keypad is polarity sensitive, so it will not work if the polarity is not correct. The Out terminal on the keypad should be connected to Cycle on the circuit board. The COM terminal on the keypad should be connected to the COM terminal on the circuit board. -2- If the keypad still won’t work, disconnect the wire from the Out terminal in the back of the keypad and short it to the COM terminal on the back of the keypad. This should activate the gate opener. If shorting the Out wire to the COM on the back of the keypad activates the gate opener, the wire and the gate opener are functioning properly, but there is a problem with the keypad. If shorting the Out wire to the COM on the back of the keypad does not work; then try shorting the Cycle and COM terminals on the circuit board with a jumper wire. This should activate the gate opener.
