What is Hypnosis? There are many varied definitions of Hypnosis and the "Trance State", basically it is a mental state that is different to the one normally experienced. It is a state where attention is turned inwards and in which conscious awareness of the 'real' world changes. It is in this state, with the conscious awareness distracted, that the deeper levels of the mind can be accessed and motivated to change in a way that is perfectly natural.

Classicflame Electric Fireplace featured on CBS Early Show Home Is Where the Hearth Is - Hot Trend, Eco-Friendly Fireplaces The Avignon by Classicflame Electric Fireplaces was recently featured on the CBS Early Show as part of their “green and clean” series. The segment introduced eco-friendly alternatives to traditional wood burning fireplaces. The segment was hosted by CBS’s Harry Smith who brought on David Gregg, the Senior Editor of BehindTheBuy.com which generates the amazon.com sales trend report and researches new product trends and consumer reviews. After researching the top electric fireplace brands in the industry, Gregg selected ClassicFlame as the standout category leader. ClassicFlame was the only electric fireplace brand represented in the segment. “It’s no secret that our electric fireplace inserts are energy efficient and can save consumers on their heating bills, but being recognized for this on a national stage has confirmed our message, and has driven business for us at both the retail level, and through consumer demand.” according to Bill Caples, Vice President of Sales & Marketing ClassicFlame Electric Fireplaces are an energy efficient alternative to traditional wood burning units as the flame effect is generated using all LED technology. During the cold winter months, it is also an efficient zone heating source and will warm only the room you’re in without wasting energy, or money, by heating other rooms that are rarely used.

When to use a Positive Displacement Pump When to use a centrifugal or a Positive Displacement pump (“PD Pump”) is not always a clear choice. To make a good choice between these pump types it is important to understand that these two types of pumps behave very differently. Performance Flow rate versus pressure 250 Head Feet By looking at the performance chart to the right you can see just how different these pumps are. The centrifugal has varying flow depending on pressure or head, whereas the PD pump has more or less constant flow regardless of pressure. 200 150 Positive 100 Centrifugal 50 0 0 50 100 150 Capacity GPM Flow rate versus viscosity Percent Another major difference between the pump types is the effect viscosity has on the capacity of the pump. You will notice in the flow rate chart how the centrifugal pump Flow Rate loses flow as the viscosity goes up but the PD pump’s flow actually increases. This is because 100% the higher viscosity liquids fill the clearances of 90% the pump causing a higher volumetric 80% efficiency. Remember, this chart shows only the Positive 70% effect of viscosity on the pump flow; when there Centrifugal 60% is a viscosity change there is also greater line 50% loss in the system. This means you will also 40% have to calculate the change in pump flow from 0 100 200 300 400 500 the first chart for this pressure change. Viscosity cSt...
