Over the years, we have received thousands of letters and photos from all over the country. They got us thinking that we should find a way for everyone to share their stories with others who have the same passion for trucks. What we came up with is lmctrucklife.com. We have shared some of these stories on this site and we were fortunate to meet some of these truck owners. They allowed us to spend a couple of days with them and let us film them telling their story. We will add more, but we would like to hear your stories, however you want to tell them. We hope you like what you find here because we have enjoyed setting it up. You will find the story of our first truck journey — Lowla — on this site as well. In recent years, research advancement in stem cell therapy has been rapid. Accordingly, general clinical, scientific, and public attention to the application of stem cell therapy has been substantial. Promises are great, most notably with regard to the application of stem cell therapy for diseases that are currently difficult to treat or incurable such as Parkinson disease or diabetes mellitus. It is in the best interest of patient care for diagnostic and interventional radiologists to be actively involved in the development of these therapies, both at the bench and at the bedside in clinical studies. Specifically, the diagnostic radiologist can become an expert in imaging, tracking, and monitoring of stem cells and in the assessment of engraftment efficiency, whereas the interventionalist is a natural expert in targeted stem cell delivery by means of different routes (percutaneous, selective intravenous, or intraarterial). In addition, there is a potential role for the interventionalist to create engraftment territory and increase engraftment bed fertility with controlled intentional tissue destruction (eg, by means of thermal ablation) that might precede stem cell administration. The Omaha Steaks Story It all began back in 1897, when my great-grandfather, J. J. Simon, and his son, B.A., sailed to America from Europe. They settled down in the Midwest where endless fields of golden corn and clear running streams were abundant. This, they felt, was the perfect place to raise and produce beef of the highest quality. In 1917, they started their own company and began selling tender, flavorful meat to the most popular restaurants in the area. By the late 1940s, our company’s reputation had spread from fine restaurants to the general public. Folks across the nation began writing and calling to find out how they could enjoy this exceptional beef right in their very own homes. Their interest was taken to heart. In 1952, we began to sell our products by mail. Now thousands of people, areas where superior quality beef is difficult to find, can have in Omaha Steaks conveniently delivered right to their door. But the convenience doesn’t stop with home delivery. You’ll love the ease of shopping from the comfort of your own home, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our catalog and mailers make it a breeze to find a guaranteed supply of the best quality meats you’ve ever tasted, backed by the skill and reputation of a world-famous family business. You can count on our friendly steak experts to answer all of your questions and to help you find the perfect selection…for home dining, entertaining and gift giving. They’ll have preparation tips, helpful hints and delicious recipes created especially for you in our test kitchen. Sincerely, Frederick J. Simon Owner
