NOTES ON ALL GENERAL MOTORS HARNESS SYSTEMS We have done a great deal of research on General Motors wiring harnesses in order to provide you with the most authentic wiring systems possible. While doing this research, we had the opportunity to study original harness blueprints and specifications for some General Motors products. All of the data we examined specified that the wire was to have a natural cotton base color (a light tan) braided over the rubber insulation, with tracer colors woven in for wire identification. The tracer colors would consist of a single thread parallel tracer or two single thread crossing tracers, as specified on the harness blueprints. After the cotton braid was applied to the wire it was to be given a protective coating consisting of a heat, oil and water resistant varnish. This protective coating would color with age and cause the original wire to appear dark yellow, orange, or brown. All the wire we use for General Motors vehicles conforms to the original color codes as specified by the manufacturer. One note on our General Motors harness systems: At this time we cannot supply the original type GM twist connectors, the rear body plug, or the turn signal switch plug. We do provide substitute connectors...

When does the coverage begin and for how long does this ...

When does the coverage begin and for how long does this powertrain warranty last? The powertrain limited warranty lasts for up to 5 years or 100,000 miles on the odometer, whichever occurs first, calculated from the start of the Basic Limited Warranty. What does the new 5-Year / 100,000-Mile Powertrain Limited Warranty include? The powertrain limited warranty covers the cost of all parts and labor needed to repair a covered powertrain component – engine, transmission and drive system – on most new Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep® brand vehicles. What powertrain parts and components are covered? Gasoline engine, transmission and drive systems (FWD, AWD, RWD or 4WD). Is towing included in the new 5-Year / 100,000-Mile Powertrain Limited Warranty? The powertrain limited warranty covers the cost of towing your vehicle to the nearest authorized Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep® dealer if your vehicle cannot be driven because a covered powertrain component has failed during the coverage period. How does a customer transfer the powertrain warranty? There is no transfer required. Why has Chrysler decided to make this change? Our customers are telling us they prefer a transferable 5-year / 100,000-mile no hassle powertrain limited warranty. Our warranty programs exemplify our investment in powertrain and our commitment to improved quality on all our vehicles. Chrysler stands behind our products. What is different from your Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty to the new 5-Year / 100,000-Mile Powertrain Limited Warranty? The lifetime warranty was not transferable and towing was not available. In order to maintain the lifetime coverage every, a dealer must perform a powertrain inspection every five years.

Summer 2009 fraud case update Cases Yasar Mahmood -vDavid Thackrah Claim no: 8PF00760 Leeds County Court Background The claimant, Yasar Mahmood, claimed damages for personal injury, hire charges, and recovery and storage charges out of an accident which occurred at a roundabout on Junction 39 of the M1 motorway. The claimant stated his vehicle was leaving the roundabout when he was “spooked” by an Audi ahead when it suddenly changed direction causing the claimant to brake sharply. As a result, the defendant, Mr Thackrah, collided with the rear of his vehicle. Thackrah claimed that the accident had been caused deliberately by the claimant who slammed on his brakes in order to provoke a collision. A defence was lodged which alleged that the collision had been caused deliberately by the claimant, acting in conjunction with the driver of the Audi, who had deliberately slammed on his brakes with the sole purpose of facilitating a collision. The defendant was shown a series of images of the claimant vehicle in its post accident condition and was able to confirm that the damage displayed with the exception of one minor scrape in the middle of the bumper had not been caused by the collision...

GOOD LOOKS WITH GREAT PERFORMANCE Just take one look at the Hyundai Accent, and you will see Hyundai’s Fluidic Sculpture design philosophy in practice. The Accent incorporates features found in higher class cars and delivers ground-breaking performance and robust styling that sets it apart from the competition. SUDDENLY STARING IS THE POLITE THING TO DO The fluidic sculpture design theme that sets Hyundai apart has been extended to the Accent. It has been given a distinctive front facia, a bold rear bumper design and flowing lines that you wouldn’t normally find on a vehicle in this class. Those who drive it love it. Those who see it want it. The all new Accent – make sure you stare. HEADLAMPS The sleek headlamp design provides optimum brightness at night, as well as an integrated look to the front fascia of the vehicle. FOG LAMPS When the sun goes down, the standard fog lamps give you a better view of the road ahead and are noticed by those who appreciate thoughtful design and attention to detail. The fog lamps also provide extra visibility in foggy weather conditions.
