When installing this exhaust system make sure to use proper safety precautions. Use jack stands when working under the vehicle, set parking brake, block tires and use safety glasses and gloves. Allow exhaust to cool before attempting installation. Severe injury or burns could occur if safety measures are not taken. SUGGESTED TOOLS: 1/2”, 9/16” 15mm wrenches & sockets, WD-40, hacksaw, jack stands. 1. Disconnect the negative battery cable before removal of OEM exhaust. This will allow the computer to reset and recognize the new exhaust. Lay out the exhaust on the floor so it looks like the drawing and compare parts with manual. 2. To remove the stock exhaust, remove it from the clamp in front of the muffler. Disengage the welded hangers using WD40 from the OEM rubber grommets. Do not damage or remove the rubber grommets as you will reuse them to mount your new system. • 09-12 models cut tailpipe before rear axle for removal. • 2013 5.7L Models un bolt your tailpipes before and after rear axle 3. Install Head Pipe #A onto your factory pipe. Insert welded hanger into factory rubber grommet. Use Clamp # G to secure. Do not tighten. 4. Install muffler #B onto head pipe #A 1½”-2”. Use a jack stand to support the muffler. Use clamp #G to secure the muffler to the headpipe. DO NOT TIGHTEN. 5. Non Factory Dual Exhaust. Install rubber grommet hanger # I onto the factory hanger at the rear of frame on Driver Side. 6. Remove spare tire to install tailpipes (Reference vehicle manual for removal of spare tire). Now install Driver side tailpipe #D into the muffler 1½-2”. Use clamp #H to secure tailpipe to muffler. DO NOT TIGHTEN. Insert welded hangers into rubber grommets. 7. Install Passenger side tailpipe #C into the muffler 1½-2”. Use clamp #H to secure tailpipe to muffler. DO NOT TIGHTEN. Insert welded hangers into rubber grommets.

1) Remove contents from box and check for damaged parts. Verify all parts are present, making sure to read and understand instructions before install. 2) Locate (8) factory holes on inside body panel. Remove black tape covering holes 2,3,6, & 7 on Quad Cabs and holes 2, 3 & 4 on Reg Cabs. Fig 1 Install frame lock bolts into factory locations. Fig 2 Thread square plastic washers on frame lock bolts to hold them in place.Fig 2a 3) QUAD CAB - Brackets that go in hole #2 will have (1) notch at the top of the bracket . Brackets that go in to holes #3 & #6 will have (2) notches at the top of the bracket. Bracket at hole #7 will have (4) notches at the top of the bracket. Fig 3 REG CAB - Brackets that go in hole #2 will have (1) notch at the top of the bracket . Brackets that go in to holes #3 & #4 will have (2) notches at the top. 4) Place brackets to thier speciﬁc locations on the frame lock bolts and fasten with 3/8” ﬂange nut through hole “A”. Hand tighten at this time . Fig 3 5) Push brackets ﬁrmly to inside body panel and mark the center of holes “B” to pinchweld with marker or paint pen. 6) Remove brackets from frame lock bolts to prepare pinchweld for drilling. 7) Drill a 3/8” hole into the points you have marked along the pinchweld. 8) Place brackets back to thier speciﬁc locations on the frame lock bolts and fasten with 3/8” ﬂange nut and tighten. Place 5/6” hex bolt and ﬂat washer through pinchweld and hole “B” of bracket and fasten with 5/16” ﬂange nut and tighten. Fig 3 9) Repeat process for all brackets on passenger side.

Wood is one of the most popular materials used to make chairs and benches because of its rich appearance, durability, and ease of construction. Wood furniture can be divided into solid and veneer (see Figure 12.1, Wood Construction). Most chairs are made of solid wood. You may, however, find chair backs and aprons made out of veneer plywood. Plywood is used for strength and to eliminate warpage, splitting, expansion, and contraction. All woods can be divided into deciduous and coniferous. There is some relationship between the hardness of the wood and the type of tree the wood comes from. In most cases deciduous trees consist of harder wood than coniferous trees, but not always. Deciduous simply refers to all leaf bearing trees such as Figure 12.1. Wood Construction teak, walnut, oak, maple, mahogany, cherry, and birch. Coniferous refers to cone-bearing trees such as pine, fir, redwood, and cedar. Most highquality wooden furniture is made of deciduous trees. Generally, wood from coniferous trees are used for the less expensive furniture. However, some high-quality furniture is now being made out of coniferous trees such as pine. While furniture made out of pine may be high quality, it is still more subject to scratches and dents than harder woods.
