RICOH Extended Depth of Field Cameras - RMA Electronics

Thanks to the synergy of Ricoh's optical design and image-processing technology, our new industrial cameras have roughly three times the depth of field of previous models. Each RICOH Extended Depth of Field Camera comprises of a specialized lens and camera with a built-in image processor. We married the unique optical technology of Ricoh lenses to Ricoh image-processing technology, applying a special optical system and new algorithm to triple the depth of field. Ricoh is an expert in optical design technology and in the image-processing technology used in cameras, which is why we are able to create these new Extended Depth of Field Cameras. Thanks to an integral FPGA processor, image processing is tailored to the image capturing task in hand. Area of Interest (AOI*) Scan Mode enables efficient scanning whilst enhancing inspection quality and speed. * “Area of interest” is a user-defined portion of the full scanning range. When the scan is limited to the area of interest, fewer images are created, so the data can be read and transferred more rapidly. Image captured with conventional camera QR code in foreground is unreadable. Image captured with RICOH Extended Depth of Field Camera QR codes in foreground and background are both readable. Installation Instructions - Gibson Exhaust Systems

When installing this exhaust system make sure to use proper safety precautions. Use jack stands when working under the vehicle, set parking brake, block tires and use safety glasses and gloves. Allow exhaust to cool before attempting installation. Severe injury or burns could occur if safety measures are not taken. SUGGESTED TOOLS: 1/2”, 9/16” 15mm wrenches & sockets, WD-40, hacksaw, jack stands. 1. Disconnect the negative battery cable before removal of OEM exhaust. This will allow the computer to reset and recognize the new exhaust. Lay out the exhaust on the floor so it looks like the drawing and compare parts with manual. 2. To remove the stock exhaust, remove it from the clamp in front of the muffler. Disengage the welded hangers using WD40 from the OEM rubber grommets. Do not damage or remove the rubber grommets as you will reuse them to mount your new system. • 09-12 models cut tailpipe before rear axle for removal. • 2013 5.7L Models un bolt your tailpipes before and after rear axle 3. Install Head Pipe #A onto your factory pipe. Insert welded hanger into factory rubber grommet. Use Clamp # G to secure. Do not tighten. 4. Install muffler #B onto head pipe #A 1½”-2”. Use a jack stand to support the muffler. Use clamp #G to secure the muffler to the headpipe. DO NOT TIGHTEN. 5. Non Factory Dual Exhaust. Install rubber grommet hanger # I onto the factory hanger at the rear of frame on Driver Side. 6. Remove spare tire to install tailpipes (Reference vehicle manual for removal of spare tire). Now install Driver side tailpipe #D into the muffler 1½-2”. Use clamp #H to secure tailpipe to muffler. DO NOT TIGHTEN. Insert welded hangers into rubber grommets. 7. Install Passenger side tailpipe #C into the muffler 1½-2”. Use clamp #H to secure tailpipe to muffler. DO NOT TIGHTEN. Insert welded hangers into rubber grommets.

To ease removal of existing exhaust components (especially on older vehicles) spray penetrating lubricant on all fasteners and hangers/insulators that will be loosened or removed and let soak before disassembly. If working without a lift always consult vehicle manual for correct lifting specifications. Always wear safety glasses and ensure a safe work area. Serious injury or death could occur if safety measures are not followed. ATTENTION: Always install any supplied band or U-bolt clamps to the proper torque specifications of 40-45 ft-lbs for band clamps and 30-35 ft-lbs for U-bolt clamps. Over tightening will result in the clamp breaking and will NOT be warranted by MagnaFlow. 1) Remove contents from box and check for damaged parts. Verify all parts are present, making sure to read and understand instructions before install. 2) Locate (8) factory holes on inside body panel. Remove black tape covering holes 2,3,6, & 7 on Quad Cabs and holes 2, 3 & 4 on Reg Cabs. Fig 1 Install frame lock bolts into factory locations. Fig 2 Thread square plastic washers on frame lock bolts to hold them in place.Fig 2a 3) QUAD CAB - Brackets that go in hole #2 will have (1) notch at the top of the bracket . Brackets that go in to holes #3 & #6 will have (2) notches at the top of the bracket. Bracket at hole #7 will have (4) notches at the top of the bracket. Fig 3 REG CAB - Brackets that go in hole #2 will have (1) notch at the top of the bracket . Brackets that go in to holes #3 & #4 will have (2) notches at the top. 4) Place brackets to thier specific locations on the frame lock bolts and fasten with 3/8” flange nut through hole “A”. Hand tighten at this time . Fig 3 5) Push brackets firmly to inside body panel and mark the center of holes “B” to pinchweld with marker or paint pen. 6) Remove brackets from frame lock bolts to prepare pinchweld for drilling. 7) Drill a 3/8” hole into the points you have marked along the pinchweld. 8) Place brackets back to thier specific locations on the frame lock bolts and fasten with 3/8” flange nut and tighten. Place 5/6” hex bolt and flat washer through pinchweld and hole “B” of bracket and fasten with 5/16” flange nut and tighten. Fig 3 9) Repeat process for all brackets on passenger side.
