WHY THE OVERHAUL? The lifetime of the existing rocket has been extended for another 10 years Considerable range increment (see Diagram D-1) Saving of financial funds Packing of the rocket, launcher and logistics remain the same No additional training of personnel for its application is required The overhaul is easy, quick and carried out with the Customer The modification is primarily made in the pro pellant grain (which has th e shortest life). Th e new pr opellant gr ain is in one piece, st ar sh aped and i nhibited along the outer surface at one end. The roc ket propellant used in its production is the modern therm oplastic composite propell ant made accor ding to the original technology. The propellant has a s imilar burning temperature as the original one, but has a higher specific im pulse, which enables the use of the orig inal nozzle assembly. The propellant grain is not bounded to the new motor combust ion cham ber, whi ch enables the overhaul of the rocket to be performed at the premises of the End User. The overhaul of the r ocket is quick and easy wi thout requi ring any special technology or machinery. B y using a larg e number of components from the existing rockets wit h expir ed propel lant gr ain life, the overha ul saves a lot of m oney if compared to supply of new rockets. The outer appearance of the new r ocket remains the same as the original one. The conditions of storage, transportation and handling remain also the same. Main new rocket parts:...

SCREAMIN’ EAGLE IGNITION MODULE General 1CAUTION This Screamin’ Eagle ignition module is intended for high-performance off-road racing applications only, and may adversely affect the motorcycle’s emissions and/or noise control systems. This engine-related performance part is not legal for sale or use in California on pollutioncontrolled motor vehicles. Use of this Screamin’ Eagle ignition module in an on-road vehicle application will void the Limited Warranty coverage. This ignition module is designed for replacement of the original equipment ignition module on specific HarleyDavidson motorcycle models with electronic ignition. Depending on the particular part number, this module may be installed on the following models, respectively: 32420-87B 32421-85B 1986-1993 XL 883cc and 1200cc Evolution engines 1984-1994 FX/Softail/ FXR/FXD Dyna Glide models, and 1984-1993 FLT/FLHT/FLHS 1340cc Evolution engines terminates in a seven-socket connector. The ignition module in this package is of the new style (1991 and Later). When replacing the ignition module on 1991 and Later model year vehicles (and on 1984 - 1990 model year vehicles in which a new style ignition module has been previously installed), the seven-socket connector of the new ignition module will simply plug into the seven-pin connector of the motorcycle’s existing wiring harness. NOTE Faulty ignition module operation may result from wiring harness problems. If this Screamin’ Eagle ignition system malfunction exists, inspect the vehicle’s wiring harness to determine if it is faulty. If the existing wiring harness is faulty, repair or replace it before installing the new ignition module....
1. Make sure the vehicle is on level ground. 6. Using oil resistant gloves, detach the oil filter and O-ring from the re-usable cap and dispose of properly. 2. Turn the engine off and wait a few minutes for the oil to drain into the oil pan. 3. Set the parking brake and ensure the gearshift is securely latched in P (Park) (automatic transmission) or 1st (First gear) (manual transmission). Important: To avoid engine damage, change the oil filter before draining the oil pan. This allows dirty oil in the filter housing to drain back into the oil pan. 4. Loosen the oil filter cap by using a 36mm socket and a ratchet (location #1) NOTE: Unscrewing the cap opens the oil filter drain and drains the oil from the oil filter housing into the crankcase. NOTE: Do not handle a hot oil filter with bare hands. Continuous contact with USED motor oil has caused cancer in laboratory mice. Protect you skin by washing with soap and water.

A shop recently called our hotline in a panic! “I have a 2005 Toyota Prius, in for an oil change,” said the caller, “and the car started by itself when it was on the lift! There was NO oil in the engine and the oil drain plug is in my hand!!” This story is real, and the names have been changed to protect the innocent. So where did the tech go wrong? It is easy to say after the fact that the shop was not properly trained to work on this Hybrid car. But this was a gas engine oil change, not a high voltage electric motor service. My opinion on the training is not as grim. While Hybrid vehicle training is definitely needed, what is often needed is simply familiarization and safety training to do most service work. In my opinion, you do not need to be a Hybrid “Guru” to service Hybrid vehicles. So what happened to this car? Why did it run with the drain plug out? The real key to this problem was in the smart key system (no pun intended). Many cars now have smart keys in them today - not just Hybrids. However, this Hybrid by nature gave the tech a false sense of security that added to the problem. This is because a Toyota Hybrid Gas Engine does not usually run at idle. If you are not familiar with the smart key system, it is a system that essentially allows the customer to open and start their car without ever taking the keys out of their pocket. A customer (or technician) would walk up to their car, have the Transponder (key fob, as seen in figure 2) in their pocket,...
