Height, body weight (BW), waist circumference (WC) and hip circumference (HC) were measured and body mass index (BMI), waist circumferences to hip circumferences ratio (WHR), WHtR, BAI and VAI were calculated (VAI score was calculated after biochemical analysis). Subjects were grouped as Group 1 and Group 2 according to VAI, and normals, overweights and obeses according to BMI. Plasma fibrinogen, serum TNF-alpha and serum hsCRP levels were measured. Results: All APs and hsCRP were increased in GROUP 2 significantly. TNF-alpha and fibrinogen levels were similar. Age, serum hsCRP and plasma fibrinogen were higher in overweights compared ...

RICOH Extended Depth of Field Cameras - RMA Electronics

Thanks to the synergy of Ricoh's optical design and image-processing technology, our new industrial cameras have roughly three times the depth of field of previous models. Each RICOH Extended Depth of Field Camera comprises of a specialized lens and camera with a built-in image processor. We married the unique optical technology of Ricoh lenses to Ricoh image-processing technology, applying a special optical system and new algorithm to triple the depth of field. Ricoh is an expert in optical design technology and in the image-processing technology used in cameras, which is why we are able to create these new Extended Depth of Field Cameras. Thanks to an integral FPGA processor, image processing is tailored to the image capturing task in hand. Area of Interest (AOI*) Scan Mode enables efficient scanning whilst enhancing inspection quality and speed. * “Area of interest” is a user-defined portion of the full scanning range. When the scan is limited to the area of interest, fewer images are created, so the data can be read and transferred more rapidly. Image captured with conventional camera QR code in foreground is unreadable. Image captured with RICOH Extended Depth of Field Camera QR codes in foreground and background are both readable. With a RICOH Extended Depth of Field Camera, even complex scanning tasks can be handled with ease. Usage scenario 1 Thanks to a depth of field roughly three times that of conventional cameras, objects can be captured in sharp focus even when moving along a production line at varying distances from the camera.

A curriculum vitae (CV) is a 3 or more page detailed biographical statement emphasizing qualifications and professional activities in detail. A CV is used for advanced positions in research and higher education and may be used for other positions when requested. For most job seekers, a resume is all that you will need. CV Samples - The Graduate College at Illinois - University of Illinois ...

CV Samples The Basics The curriculum vitae, also known as a “CV” or “vita,” is a comprehensive statement of your educational background and your teaching and research experience. It is the standard representation of credentials within academia. The CV is only used when applying for academic positions in four-year institutions. Do NOT use a CV when applying to community colleges; use a resume instead. Tailor your CV to the specific positions to which you are applying. A CV submitted for a position at a teaching-focused liberal arts college will strongly emphasize teaching, whereas a CV for a position at researchintensive university will accentuate research. Position more relevant sections earlier in the CV. CV format can vary by field, so also seek disciplinary-specific advice from advisers, professors and others within your field. There are no length restrictions for CVs. Formatting Your CV must be well organized and easy to read. Choose an effective format and be consistent. Use bolds, italics, underlines, and capitalization to draw attention. List all relevant items in reverse chronological order in each section Strategically locate the most important information near the top and/or left side of the page. In general, place the name of the position, title, award, or institution on the left side of the page and associated dates on the right. Use a footer to include page numbers & your last name, to help the reader in case pages get separated.

Your school may also request a CV to aid in the preparation of your Medical School Performance Evaluation (MSPE). Lastly, you should provide a CV to faculty members who will write your letters of recommendation. Creating a CV takes time, but it's a tool you'll use throughout your professional life. You'll need to present complete but succinct information that will provide an overview of your qualifications. A CV is a living document that represents you -- properly constructed and with periodic updates, the CV you develop now can be used throughout your career.
