Analyse der Arbeitsmarktnachfrage in Österreich Im Jahr 2012 wurden durch die Offene-Stellen-Erhebung von Statistik Austria, die gemeinsam mit den offenen Stellen des Arbeitsmarktservice (AMS) die wichtigste Informationsquelle über die Arbeitsnachfrage darstellt, im Jahresdurchschnitt rund 70.000 offene Stellen erfasst. Diesen standen rund 3,655.000 unselbständig Erwerbstätige gegenüber. In Summe ergibt dies 3,724.000 Stellen, von denen 98,1% besetzt waren. Der Anteil der freien Stellen - Offene-Stellen-Quote - betrug demnach 1,9%. Im internationalen Vergleich liegt Österreich damit nach Deutschland, Norwegen, Belgien und Finnland auf dem fünften Platz und deutlich über dem Durchschnitt der EU-27 (1,5%). Die Meldequote, also der Anteil der beim AMS gemeldeten offenen Stellen an den offenen Stellen der Offene-Stellen-Erhebung, betrug 41%. Somit wurden über die Offene-Stellen-Erhebung mehr als doppelt so viele offene Stellen erfasst wie beim AMS. Die Daten dieser Erhebung liefern zentrale Kennzahlen zur Arbeitsnachfrage und ermöglichen umfassende Auswertungen hinsichtlich der Struktur und der Dynamik des Arbeitsmarkts. Der Artikel umfasst die methodische Beschreibung der primärstatistischen Erhebung und präsentiert ausgewählte Ergebnisse.
