Hypnosis for sports Performance Improvement

There is a long and fruitful history of hypnosis in sport, sometimes recorded under different names such as mind conditioning or autogenic training. For the 1956 Melbourne Olympics, the Russian team took with them no less than 11 hypnotists and during the 1978/79 tour of Australia, Mike Brearley, the English captain, sought the services of a medical hypnotherapist. In the early 1980s, hypnotist Peter Siegel worked with bodybuilder Lee Haney who won the Mr. Olympia title eight years in a row! In 1985 he also worked with bodybuilder Mike Christian who managed to conclusively win the Mr. America and Mr. Universe titles.

Performance of Summer Tomato in Response to Maleic Hydrazide

The experiment was conducted at the Horticulture farm, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, during the period from May 2012 to August 2012. Summer tomato seedlings were sprayed with four levels of maleic hydrazide viz. 0, 20, 40 and 60 ppm were arranged in Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. Plant growth retardant- maleic hydrazide @ 60 ppm decrease plant height, increases number of leaves, branch, flowers (33%) and fruits (35%) plant -1 . It also increases individual fruit weight and yield of tomato ha -1 about 32% and 57%, respectively but it did not affect the fruit length and diameter.

Challenges Facing Effective Implementation of Free Primary Education in Public Primary Schools: A C

The purpose of the study was to determine the challenges facing implementation of free primary education in Kenya today using Githunguri district in Kiambu County as a case study. Enhancing Performance Mesh Networks by Utilizing Excess Capacity

Wireless mesh networks (WMNs) have gained considerable interest in expanding IEEE 802.11 networks to large-scale enterprise and community scenarios, primarily because of its capability of providing wide-band network access to a significant number of users. However, the mesh nodes are typically limited in resources such as bandwidth, computation power and memory. Capacity limitation is one of the fundamental issues in wireless networks. Excess capacity(EC) is the unused capacity. Here in this paper EC Management techniques are used to improve network performance.

Motivating senior high school accounting teachers to stay at post in Ghana: A tripartite elemental

If productivity before motivation proves elusive, then it is wasteful to ensure consistent preaching of same. The best rather than discretionary approach is to apply the complete reversal of this working guideline. Efforts need to be channeled to motivating teachers to measure up to the required standard of performance. But it would be untenable if the teachers concerned did not require any more motivation
