Installation Instructions for CRF 150R and KX450F Steahly Flywheel Weight Warning: Improper instalation of this flywheel weight could result in engine damage or a serious crash. If you do not have the tools or the mechanical abilities take it to a professional. 1. Drain the engine oil or turn off the gas and lay the bike on its side. 2. Remove the shift lever. 3. Remove the ignition cover. Take care not to tear the gasket or have a new gasket on hand. Be carefull that you don’t lose the two dowel pins that are between the cover and the engine case. 4. Remove the flywheel nut. Use an air impact wrench or figure out a way to keep the flywheel from rotating while you remove the nut. A strap wrench or an automotive oil filter wrench may work as a holding tool or try putting the bike in high gear and holding the rear brake on. 5. Pull off the stock flywheel with the proper flywheel puller that has a crank end protection cap. Steahly part number E-63. Do not attempt removal with out the correct puller. Do not use claw type pullers. 6. Fit the flywheel weight on to the stock flywheel. Line up the two threaded holes in the weight with two holes in the stock flywheel. 7. Clean the threads of the two special bolts with contact cleaner. Put a big drop of red Loctite or other high strength thread locker on the threads of the 2 bolts. Install the two special bolts as shown in the picture and torque to 12 foot pounds. 8. Unless you plan to take the weight on and off a lot we highly recommend using a center punch and a hammer to flare out the threads at the end of the bolt (see pictures below). This will reduce the possibility of the bolt coming loose. 9. Clean up the flywheel and weight and remove any metal stuck to the magnets. 10. Install the flywheel with weight back onto the tapered crank shaft end making sure the key ways are lined up. Torque the stock nut to 42 ft- lbs.

Shut off engine and apply the parking brake, chock the wheels, disconnect vehicle battery power, and perform any other applicable safety steps. 2. Remove the transmission. 3. Remove clutch from flywheel. 4. Pull the crankshaft position sensor out of the flywheel housing about 8 mm (0.32 in.). 5. Remove the end cover from the flywheel housing and install the engine barring tool (J-46392). Tighten the bolts on the barring device to 25 N·m (18 lb·ft). Insert the locking pin to block the device and prevent it from rotating. 6. Using J-46385, the flywheel and main pulley socket tool, remove two flywheel multi-point socket head bolts from the flywheel, 180 degrees apart. See Figure 1.

The theoretical framework was based on the secondary data (articles and books) and included core concepts of packaging, packaging design, consumer behavior, consumer perception, and consumer attraction. The mixed method was selected for acquiring and analyzing the research results. Quantitative data was collected from 30 questionnaire responses and was analyzed with the computer program Excel. Qualitative data was obtained from two interviews conducted with the companies, Valio Ltd and Tetra Pak Ltd. The results of the study revealed the importance of packaging design in consumer buying behavior. By examining the consumer perception, it was found out that packaging design elements such as graphics, color, and product information play a key role in decision making and ensure consumer’s attention. Based on the findings, it was defined that successful milk packaging design could be created by the cooperation between the consumer and the company. Further research could investigate other product packages’ design elements.

Many organizations today would seemingly be content with having achieved an information architecture that features a broad-scope enterprise resource management environment feeding data in batch for reporting and analytics to a robust data warehouse environment. As a bonus, the data warehouses in this post-operational environment may consist of solid-state components and automated archival abilities. Irreversibly, the environment also has been inundated with data marts fed from original source and from the data warehouse itself. There is frequently a multidimensional database in the mix. Or a hundred. If there is any contentment with such an architecture, it will be short-lived. With information the “new gold” for companies, each shop must do everything it can to nurture, protect, make available and otherwise exploit the information asset. This will frequently mean venturing into new technology domains for the management of the asset. One may be tempted to consider the NoSQL movement as the epitome of these new technology domains. However, many possibilities have been laid on the table by the vendor community in the years prior to NoSQL. Most have merit in an enterprise today. We clearly need to get away from the winner-take-all mentality where every workload – sometimes whether it is analytical or operational – will be solved the same way as the last one. Frequently, that way was with a data integration operation with the data warehouse followed by the deployment of more reports in the business intelligence tool. Force-fitting a workload into a technology that it was not designed for creates more problems than it solves.

This project came about when trying to make a low cost autonomous robot for use in education. The idea being that students would be able to identify with the Xbox controller and enjoy hacking it into something far more interesting! The Concept: This was a concept to make a low cost autonomous programmable robot for education using low cost every day things that the students could identify with – ie. The Xbox Controller. There are of course several existing product in this market most notably the Lego NXT and the Vex Systems. Both of these allow users to build and program autonomous robots, but there are two key differences, 1) On the XBugBot the programming and the processor are not separate! 2) The price! The XBugBot can be build for around 1/10th of the cost of the competing products! The humble Xbox Controller. What is the Xbox controller? Well once connected to the PC it becomes a low cost wireless DAQ (Data Acquisition System), it has several digital inputs (Buttons) and several analogue inputs (Joy Sticks etc.), plus two motor control outputs (Vibration Motors). What can it become? - Meet XBugBot: Hack your Xbox Controller and add a couple of wheels and sensors and you get an XBugBot! How is it Controlled? Using the FlowStone graphical programming language from DSPRobotics: ( ) FlowStone is an awesome teaching tool for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) as is graphical so students can easily relate and understand it.
