Installation Guide for the 36-EBU and 42-EBU Electric Fireplace

NOTE: Power ratings shown include the light bulbs and motor (275 watts) STEP-BY-STEP INSTALLATION (Note: Please read all instructions before installing) 1. Rough in framing opening following the recommended dimensions (Section A: Framing). 2. Allow 8” of service cable for connecting to the junction box on the fireplace. Remove the outer jacket and strip the individual conductors ½” from the end. 3. Loosen the screw securing junction box cover and remove the cover. 4. Remove knockouts if necessary or use the provided cable clamp. 5. Place unit in position in the opening, level with shims if necessary and attach unit to frame using nailing flanges provided. 6. Unit is factory wired for 208/240 volt power supply. If 120 volt operation is required, slide the switch and reconfigure the wiring as covered in section C wiring. Wires L1, L2, N & G are attached to the rear of the junction box cable clamp for easy access. 7. Wire a dedicated, properly fused circuit with a 20amp rating for the appropriate voltage (120, 208/240). 8. Make wall mounted thermostat connections as outlined in Section C: Wiring. 9. Design of All Digital FM Receiver Circuit - OpenCores

1. Introduction The design of the All Digital FM Receiver circuit in this project uses Phase Locked Loop (PLL) as the main core. The task of the PLL is to maintain coherence between the input (modulated) signal frequency, ωi and the respective output frequency, ωo via phase comparison. This self-correcting ability of the system also allows the PLL to track the frequency changes of the input signal once it is locked. Frequency modulated input signal is assumed as a series of numerical values (digital signal) via 8-bit of analog to digital conversion (ADC) circuit. The FM Receiver gets the 8 bit signal every clock cycle and outputs the demodulated signal. The All Digital FM Receiver circuit is designed using VHDL, then simulated and synthesized using ModelSim SE 6 simulator and Xilinx ISE 6.3i, respectively. FPGA implementation also provided, here we use Virtex2 device. The real measurement is done using ChipScope Pro 6.3i. 2. Architecture Description The system of All Digital FM Receiver consists of a digital PLL cascaded with digital low pass filter. The block diagram of system is shown in Fig. 1.

Softail Oil Change From time to time I see question on the forum regarding doing an oil change on a Harley and more specifically about doing a scavenging oil change on a Softail. Since there didn't seem to be a good thread on doing an oil change with pictures, I thought I would write something up. This oil change was done on a 2001 Fat Boy. So, some of the tools and procedure may be different for your specific application.
