1. Access the vehicle’s wiring harness connectors at positions P3 and P4 as shown in the Wiring Location Guide. 2. Locate the vehicle’s battery and disconnect the negative battery terminal. 3. Open the trunk. Remove all trunk floor covers (A). Remove the two plastic push fasteners on each side of the rear scuff panel (B). Remove the rear scuff panel by pulling out on the bottom and then up (C). On both sides of the trunk remove the plastic push fasteners holding the felt trunk liner in place (D). 4. On the driver’s side pull back on the felt trunk liner to locate the vehicle’s taillight wiring harness connectors (E). The connectors will be similar to those on the T-Connector harness. Separate the two connectors from the taillight housing taking care not to damage the locking tabs. Insert the T-Connector end with the yellow wire between the separated 2 pin connectors. Insert the T-Connector end with the red wire between the separated 3 pin connectors (F). Make sure the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in place.
In order to establish a connection to the Internet it will be necessary to provide information to the Router that will be stored in its memory. For some users, only their account information (Username and Password) is required. For others, various parameters that control and define the Internet connection will be required. You can print out the two pages below and use the tables to list this information. This way you have a hard copy of all the information needed to setup the Router. If it is necessary to reconfigure the device, all the necessary information can be easily accessed. Be sure to keep this information safe and private. Low Pass Filters Since ADSL and telephone services share the same copper wiring to carry their respective signals, a filtering mechanism may be necessary to avoid mutual interference. A low pass filter device can be installed for each telephone that shares the line with the ADSL line. These filters are easy to install passive devices that connect to the ADSL device and/or telephone using standard telephone cable. Ask your service provider for more information about the use of low pass filters with your installation.

Successfully performing electrical work requires the ability to read and interpret many different types of drawings and diagrams. Understanding circuit symbols and components is another one of the basic building blocks needed to become an electrician. If an electrician misinterprets a drawing or diagram when wiring a house, devices could be incorrectly installed or even missed altogether. Knowing how to properly take information from an electrical drawing or diagram and apply it to the real world is essential for electricians. Lesson Outcomes The student will be able to: • Know the difference between a circuit drawing and a wiring diagram • Understand some basic symbols for schematic drawings and wiring diagrams • Produce a wiring diagram • Understand the difference between different types of diagrams • Know how to draw a basic floor plan with electrical symbols Assumptions Students will have been introduced to electrical equipment and terminology. In addition, they will understand: • Basic electrical circuits and theory • Branch circuit wiring • A basic top view floor plan Terminology Block diagram: a diagram of a system in which the principal parts or functions are represented by blocks connected by lines that show the relationships of the blocks.
