Helpful Guidelines for Successful Weight Loss Weight loss should occur when you eat fewer calories than you burn. Increasing physical activity while limiting your calories will increase your rate of weight loss. Increasing physical activity will also help you to maintain your weight after weight loss. Discuss appropriate calorie levels and serving sizes with your dietitian. 1. Keep a written food and physical activity journal. 2. Weigh yourself once per week at the same time of day, with the same amount of clothing, and on the same scale. 3. Eat breakfast everyday and do not skip meals. Skipping meals can lead to extreme hunger, overeating and poor food choices. 4. Plan your meals and eat around the same time every day. 5. Pick an eating area at home and/or work. 6. Turn off the TV and/or computer during meals and snacks. 7. Eat slowly. Take 30 minutes for a meal. It takes 20 minutes before you feel full, so wait 20 minutes after your first serving before taking a second serving. 8. Eat protein foods first to help you feel full sooner. 9. Read food labels to help control portions of food. 10. Eat less fat and sugar. Eat more fiber, including fresh fruits/vegetables and whole grains. 11. Limit restaurant and fast food meals. 12. Don’t keep problem foods around the house and/or at work. A problem food is a food that you are likely to eat too much of or too often if readily available. 13. Drink at least 8 cups (64 ounces) of liquids per day. Focus on calorie-free, caffeine-free beverages. 14. Get adequate sleep each night (7-9 hours). Grilled Steak and Peppers Salad with Pears Grill whole bell peppers along with steak, then add Bartlett pear slices, and you have the foundation of a delicious and colorful Italian-influenced salad. Preparation time: 30 minutes Serves: 4 INGREDIENTS: • 2 cups (4 oz) whole-wheat rotini pasta, uncooked • 1 yellow bell pepper • 1 red bell pepper • ½ tsp olive oil • 12 oz boneless choice beef top sirloin • 2 Bartlett pears • 3 cups arugula • ¼ cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese Vinaigrette • 1 tbsp olive oil • 3 tbsp distilled vinegar • ¼ cup 100% white grape juice or apple juice • ¼ tsp salt (optional) • 1 tbsp Italian herb blend, salt-free DIRECTIONS: In a small bowl, whisk olive oil, vinegar, grape or apple juice, salt, and herb blend. Boil water and cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain pasta, rinse in cool water. Heat grill, rub peppers with ½ tsp olive oil. Grill whole peppers, turning as needed, until skin begins to brown and bubble. At the same time, grill beef sirloin to 145 °F, turning once. Remove from grill, let cool slightly. Slice peppers into strips, discarding seeds and stem. Cut sirloin across the grain into thin slices. Slice pears into thin wedges. Toss arugula and pasta in large bowl. Replace 10amp fuse for “FUEL” with 15amp fuse. 3.) Install Heavy Duty Clutch Springs. 4.) Modify Oil Pan for oil return line from Turbo by drilling a 23/32 hole on the left front side. Remove any metal shavings and install fitting facing front of bike. Apply silicone to threads of fitting first (typical for all threaded fittings). Re-install Oil Pan. 5.) Remove Oil Plug (reducer) behind Oil Filter using 8mm allen. Re-install new oil filter.

Dodge truck 5.9 and 8.5 diesel) The Caterpillar engine mounting adapter is used with the universal mounting adapter that is included with the Norco diesel engine stand. The universal mounting adapter consists of a mounting plate that bolts directly to the engine stand drive shaft and two plates that bolt to opposite sides of the mounting plate.
